1,000 Feet of Street– Fall 2018

VOLUNTEER! Call Chris at 570-223-8920 x119 or email crain@mstownship.com

The “Make it Pretty Committee,” along with the Public Works Department and the Adopt-A-Road participants and Parks and Recreation will work hard at cleaning up local township roads on Saturday, September 29.

Volunteers are always appreciated, whether you can join us for 30 minutes, 3 hours, or all day!

This year, we are very proud to have our successful 1000 Feet of Street serve as the model for Pick Up the Poconos Day, also on September 29. Organized by the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Middle Smithfield Township, and East Stroudsburg University, this litter cleanup day is county wide with 11 of the 20 municipalities in Monroe County participating. Thanks to volunteers like you, our program is now spreading throughout the region.
Bags, pickers, gloves, safety vests and shirts will be provided by the township, as well as light breakfast to start.

For more information and to volunteer call Chris at 570-223-8920 x119 or email crain@mstownship.com

Want to clean up but can’t do it on 9/29? Clean up anytime you want! Stop by the township building for cleanup supplies and just clean up in your own neighborhood, in one of our parks, or ask for a recommendation. Any help is always appreciated!
