1,000 Feet of Street

It’s almost time to clean up Middle Smithfield Township “1,000 Feet of Street” at a time!

The “Make it Pretty Committee,” along with the Public Works Department and the Adopt-A-Road participants will work hard at cleaning up local roads on Saturday, April 16.

As the township works toward improving the appearance of their “Main Street,” they hope to attract more visitors and patrons to the area.

Volunteers are always needed and any time that can be given is appreciated. As a volunteer you can clean your road or to be grouped with other volunteers on a designated road. You can also “Adopt-A-Road,” have a sign placed in your honor and clean that road, with no cost to you.

Bags, pickers, gloves, safety vests and shirts will be provided by the township, as well as light refreshments.
