The Middle Smithfield Township Adopt A Road Program is a litter-reduction campaign designed to remove litter debris from township roads and to improve the quality of the environment. The program develops a partnership between volunteer groups and the township public works department. Groups apply to adopt a two mile stretch of road and commit to cleaning two miles of road, two times a year for two years. Groups can be any size and made up of individuals or organizations. Adopting a road can be a very rewarding experience and enjoyed by groups of friends, family or coworkers. Your work is then recognized by posting "Adopted by (your group name)" signs on your road! The following township roads are available for adoption. If you would like to join the Adopt a Road program please read the information below for further details and choose your road.
