Did You Know?


One on One Meeting with Supervisor Mitchell K. Marcus will be held on Tuesday, March 23 from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Schoonover Municipal Center.  This will be an informal question and answer session and will provide an opportunity for the public to give feedback, learn what Supervisors are doing and share information, as well as for Supervisor Marcus to learn from the public.

Supervisors Scott Schaller and Bob Spano are available by phone during daytime hours.


AARP Tax-Aide  40 Years: Volunteers Serving Taxpayers  Free tax help for taxpayers with low and middle income, with special attention to those age 60 and older.  February 2 to April 15, 2010, 9am to noon at the Schoonover Municipal Building.  Bad Weather Notice:  If schools are closed, site will be closed.  Please bring envelopes for mailing returns.  Read here for more information.


The U.S. Census Bureau will be providing assistance on Mondays from March 22, 2010 until April 19, 2010 between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm at the Schoonover Municipal Center.  A representative from the bureau will be available to answer any questions or concerns about this years very important Census.  For more information on the 2010 Census call 1-866-861-2010 or visit www.census.gov.


2010 Decennial Census Workers- The Census Bureau (Philadelphia Region) is currently seeking part-time help in assisting the bureau to canvass Monroe County. These part-time positions are paid. If anyone is interest they can contact the Census Bureau (Philadelphia Region) either by phone 1-866-861-2010,  internet www.census.gov or click HERE for more information.


Relocated Oak Grove Drive and Park and Ride Now Open - PennDOT has opened Oak Grove Drive to through traffic on its relocated alignment.  The new Marshalls Creek Park and Ride was also opened on  November 24th with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  For more information, visit the PennDOT Marshalls Creek Traffic Relief Website.
