Did You Know?

JUDY PUTEK MEMORIAL PARK - The Judy Putek Park Dedication will be held on Thursday July 24, 2008 at 5:00 pm at 60 Municipal Drive.  The park has been set aside for passive recreation to complement the active recreation available at Echo Lake Park and Resica Park.

Go approximately four miles on Route 209 N, take the jug handle to the right just after the Middle Smithfield Elementary School. At the stop sign make a Left turn. Go through the traffic light and just pass the Foxmoor Shopping Center is the township building on the left Follow the signs.

 

FEES:

Pick up trucks and vans                                      $10.00

Small utility trailers (up to 8 ft. in length)             $10.00

Larger trailers cost to be determined by staff

Automobile Load                                                $5.00

Dump Truck (single axle) and box trucks          $40.00

Dump Truck (one-ton)                                         $30.00

 

TIRES: Tires will be charged $2.00 each; with rims $4.00 each.  Large tires are $10.00 each; with rims $12.00 each, large tractor tires are $15.00 each; with rims $20.00 each. Maximum of twelve (12) tires per household.

MATERIAL NOT ACCEPTED:

AUTOMOBILES AND AUTOMOBILE PARTS, PAINT CANS WITH CONTENTS, THINNERS, PESTICIDES, HERBICIDES, AND ANY OTHER HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, 

NAILS AND SCREWS - (MUST BE IN CLOSED CONTAINER), 

BUILDING MATERIALS AND DEMOLITION WASTE (i.e., LUMBER, SHINGLES/SHEETROCK, DIRT, CEMENT ETC. WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

BATTERIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. 

Residents are responsible for unloading their own vehicle, the township employees will be available to assist if necessary.

CLEAN UP IS FOR MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS.  BRING PROOF OF RESIDENCE, TAX BILL., RENT RECEIPT, ETC. 

THIS CLEAN UP IS AN EXTREMELY “USER FRIENDLY” PROGRAM. WE URGE ALL RESIDENTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY. A GREAT WAY TO DISPOSE OF UNWANTED GOODS!!   

NEW THIS YEAR - SPECIAL CONTAINERS AVAILABLE FOR LEAVES AND YARD DEBRIS.  NO LARGE TREE STUMPS
