The Middle Smithfield Township Open Space Advisory Board meeting was called to order January 3,2007 at 6:50 P.M. Members, Judy Putek, John Ferro, Fred May, Judy Summers, Al Decker, Donna Hamilton, Karen Livingood and Lou Scaltrito were present. Supervisor, Debbie Kulick, attended.

A motion to approve the December, 2006 minutes was made by John Ferro. Fred May made the second. The minutes were approved.

REORGANIZATION

The Board of Supervisors appointed Judy Putek Chairperson.

John Ferro nominated Laurel Bischow Vice Chairman. Fred May seconded the motion. Laurel Bishow was voted to the position.

Debbie Kulick nominated Karen Livingood Secretary. John Ferro made the second. The motion carried.

MARSHALLS CREEK BYPASS No report

COURTRIGHT LANE Judy Putek reported the grant funding figures.

$45,000 from the Monroe County Open Space Bond Fund.

$15,000 from the township.

GRANT UPDATE 3 Boy Scout Parcels

$298,500 from the Monroe County Open Space Bond Fund application filed.

$298,500 from DCNR application due April 13,2007.
