The current Federal Emergency regarding COVID-19 is requiring businesses and municipalities to implement protocols to decrease exposure. In an effort to support “social distancing” to aid in reducing the spread of COVID-19, the Zoning & Building Office will meet with those requiring in-person assistance by appointment only. Anyone exhibiting signs of illness will be turned away.

APPLICATIONS: Submit your permit applications online or by mail.

Resale, Use & Occupancy Certificate applications are also available on the MST website and can be submitted by email. Once the application and payment are received we can schedule your inspection *see below regarding payments and inspections
Septic applications are available only in our office but we can mail you an application if you’d like. Please call our reception desk at 570-223-8920 ext. 100 to request an application.
PAYMENTS: Pay for your permits over the phone
Building, Zoning & Septic permits, as well as Resale, Use & Occupancy Certificate applications, can now be paid for by credit/debit card over the phone. If someone is not available in the Zoning Office, please contact the receptionist at 570-223-8920 ext. 100 for assistance.
If your permit has been issued and your payment has been received, your permit is valid. We can mail your issued & approved documents – no need to come to our office to pick them up.
Any inspections requiring entry into a home will not occur if anyone within the home has symptoms of illness. Permit holders can be assured that their permit will not expire, and are asked to schedule the inspection at a later date.
