Middle Smithfield Township, PA; Join us on Saturday November 26 at 6pm for Middle Smithfield Township’s Annual Tree Lighting ceremony at Echo Lake Park!

Celebrate the season with Santa and Middle Smithfield Township as we light the tree. The event begins at 6pm with music and cocoa in front of the Community & Cultural Center.  Santa & Mrs. Claus will arrive escorted by the Marshalls Creek Fire Company at 6:30 to light the tree, followed by a fireworks display.  The Clauses will be available for pictures inside the Community Center until 7:30. Our rain date is Sunday Nov. 27.

Music will be provided by the East Stroudsburg High School North Choir and Band. Cocoa from BSA Troop 87 as well as photos with Santa will also be available. Parking will be available at the Presbyterian Church across the street from the park, and Marshall’s Square shopping center next to the park.  Constables will be on hand to ensure safety.

The event is completely FREE to attend. Food donations for Bushkill Outreach will be collected at the event.  Girl Scout Troop 52299 will also collect socks, hats, and gloves at the event and all through December at the Library of the Smithfields.
