Over a dozen locally-owned restaurants have joined together with Middle Smithfield Township to hold the first MST Restaurant Week, offering diners as much as 30% off their regular prices as well as some offering special items off their regular menu!!
Come to any of the participating businesses (listed below) during the week of Monday, May 11 to Sunday, May 17. Restaurant Week is an opportunity for local residents and visitors to get out and try something new. And if you golf, the deal gets even sweeter – show your restaurant receipt from any participating restaurant at Country Club of the Poconos Golf Course, and get $5 off golf or anything in the Pro-Shop (offer good through Friday 5/22).

Residents and restaurant owners alike have already expressed their enthusiasm for the initiative. Over 75% of survey respondents asked for Restaurant Week. To quote just one, “This is a great incentive, so good for the community. Keep it coming!” All parties hope this will be another step forward toward a stronger community. “We’re excited to add Restaurant Week to our Shop Local initiative in support of our local businesses”, said Bob Hetu, Chair of MST’s Economic Development Committee, and developer of the township’s WhereMST mobile app.
Township Supervisor and Treasurer Mike Dwyer agreed, adding “this is just another way we show that ‘Middle Smithfield Means Business’. This is a nice prelude to our new LERTA program public hearing at the end of this month; LERTA abates taxes for businesses that invest in the community by expanding and improving.”
