Help Us To Help You – Take part in the: 2016 Monroe County Hazard Preparedness Survey

STROUDSBURG, PA – In an effort to understand how prepared the residents of Monroe County are for emergencies and disasters, the Monroe County Hazard Mitigation Planning Team are asking residents to complete the Monroe County Preparedness Survey . The information gathered from the Preparedness Survey will give insight to county and municipal officials on how residents are receiving emergency preparedness information, to what level are they prepared and how willing are they to implement hazard mitigation actions in their homes. This information will be included in the 2016 Monroe County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan, which will be presented for public comment on March 9th at the 6pm Hazard Mitigation Public Meeting, held at the Monroe County Public Safety Center.

Monroe County residents are asked to complete the survey no later than February 29th.
