The public hearings for the following ordinances are being rescheduled for the Middle Smithfield Township Board of Supervisors’ May 11, 2023 meeting. The public is still welcome to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting on April 20, 2023 and provide comment on the draft ordinances. However, the Board of Supervisors will be scheduling the ordinances for possible adoption at its May 11, 2023 meeting. The ordinances that will be considered for adoption at the May 11, 2023 meeting are as follows:
“AMENDING THE MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 80, ALARM SYSTEMS, ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OPERATION OF ALARM SYSTEMS, PAYMENTS FOR FALSE ALARMS AND PROVISIONS FOR VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES RELATED THERETO”
and,
“AMENDING THE MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 134, MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTIES, ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTIES WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP, PROVIDING FOR REMEDIAL ACTION BY THE TOWNSHIP IN SPECIFIED SITUATIONS AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE REGULATIONS”
The public hearings for the above-referenced ordinances will be advertised for and held before the Middle Smithfield Township Board of Supervisors at the regular meeting on May 11, 2023 7:00 pm.
