Join the Parks & Recreation Committee at Resica Park on Saturday April 5 at noon for the 18th Annual Eggstravaganza!
The Middle Smithfield Township Parks & Recreation Board’s 18th Annual Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday April 5 at 12 p.m. at Resica Park in East Stroudsburg, PA.
Come and join us for another hippity-hoppity time with thousands of eggs, games, and a special return of the Easter Bunny. The Eggstravaganza is a great opportunity for residents to catch up with neighbors in friendly conversation and celebrate the return of spring. Kids and kids-at-heart of all ages are welcome and get a chance to win prizes and have lots of fun. Please bring a basket or a bag. Parent or guardian supervision is required for anyone under the age of 18.
Children can participate in one of three egg hunts to collect candy filled eggs. The hunts are organized by age group and begin at different times. The groups are:
- Ages 0-2 at 12:15pm
- Ages 3-5 at 12:30pm
- Ages 6-10 at 12:45pm
Eggs are available while supplies last! If you miss your age group, you may join a later hunt. Participation in one hunt per child, please.
The event will also feature a series of games for kids to play to win other prizes, pictures with the Easter Bunny, the Marshalls Creek Fire Company fire truck, the Bushkill Emergency Corps ambulance, and balloon art with Raven Entertainment.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will take place on Sunday April 6.
