This is the bimonthly meeting of the Middle Smithfield Township Board of Supervisors. Bimonthly meetings of the Board of Supervisors take place on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 7pm, unless otherwise indicated.

Notice is hereby given that the Middle Smithfield Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on July 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Middle Smithfield Township municipal building at 147 Municipal Drive, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302, to receive public comment and to consider and possibly adopt an ordinance, of which this notice is a summary, amending the Middle Smithfield Township Code of Ordinances by adding a new Chapter 134, Maintenance of Properties, establishing requirements and regulations for the maintenance of properties within the Township and providing for penalties for violations. The title of the proposed ordinance is as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MIDDLE SMITHFIELD, MONROE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 134, MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTIES, ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTIES WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP, PROVIDING FOR REMEDIAL ACTION BY THE TOWNSHIP IN SPECIFIED SITUATIONS AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE REGULATIONS
